Sisters

I have two sisters. One is really annoying. One I like a lot. Brittney is always fighting and being mean and doing weird stuff. I like her when she is nice. My other sister lives in California and she came to visit. When I walked in the door, I had my dog, Roxie in my hands and when I saw her, my eyes just got wider and I just stood there, staring at my sister. Then I dropped the leash and "fainted". I was about an inch from the ground, and I put my hands right in front of my belly to stop myself from getting hurt when I fell on the floor. And then everyone started laughing. And then I told my two sisters and my mom that I fell off a five foot tree. I got about two scrapes -- one on my elbow and one on the back of my right leg. We walked over to Damon's to have some dinner. I ordered these Nachos and I didn't know how big they were, so I asked my sister, Meagan, if she wanted to share some nachos, so she said, "Sure!" When we were ordering the waitress told us the plate of nachos was about a foot and a half long and about a foot wide. And they were delicious! They had red and black chips! I asked if the chips tasted like plain chips, and she said, "Yes". And that is the story of my sisters *grumbly voice* Bye.

Finding Out Things That Are the Worst

So I found this BB gun and I went to the store to see if there was anything wrong with it, or if its broken. And the guy told me there is no air pump and the handle is split open. We were just trying to find out what condition it is in.

When I found it, I was just walking around -- I wanted to explore the basement and I remembered that Gramma said Poppy's gun is somewhere around. And I looked and pulled something out to look at it. I saw this little wooden handle and saw this little rifle or something. And I was yelling, "I found it! I found it!" And I came in with this gun in my hands and she was like, "Whoa". And I said, "I think it is a BB gun." She said, "I think you're right!" Then I found out that the gun was pretty much broken -- that the handle was broken so I couldn't cock it how I was supposed to, so I had to cock it a different way -- well, I had to try.

My mom hates BB guns (insert mad face, or a face that is not so good). So that's my story about finding out things that are the worst.

Friends

I have friends -- sometimes they are mean, sometimes they are nice, sometimes they are in-between, sometimes they are fun, sometimes they are boring. And I have at least...now, like two friends in the neighborhood -- one that used to live in the neighborhood, but he is now moved. His name is Darius. One of my other friends that lives in this neighborhood, but she is gonna move soon, her name is Jeanna. And my other friend is named, Marvin. Marvin doesn't usually come over much, but Jeanna will sometimes come over, but she is getting ready to move to Florida. Darius is now usually the only friend I have. Sometimes you wish you had thousands of friends, sometimes you wish you had no friends, sometimes you wish you were never born. Sometimes you wish you were born with a brother or sister that is your age. And that's what I think about friends. Bye.

Fun With My Friend

Fun with my Friend

So we were going to go get free Slurpies at 7-11 because it is the 7th month and it was the 11th day, so I called that 7-11 Day, so they gave out free little Slurpies in their 7.11 oz cups. I got a mix: mountain dew, blue raspberry rush and wild cherry, and it was good. And then we got Lunchables so we could have our lunch.

We went to Sotterley. We had fun, we traveled around. We found this cool feather, which a gift shop girl says it might be a red-winged blackbird. We went down to the pond and I had my adventure passport.

We went to different places. We went to St. Mary’s County Welcome Center. We went to Sotterley Plantation, and we went to Cecil’s Mill Historic District. And we went to the Old Leonardtown Armory – that’s the places we went to. We just have a few more places to go to before we get a free ice cream from Brusters! And then after we got all our passport stamps, when everything was shutting down, my friend’s mom invited me and my mom to come have dinner with them. We had grilled cheese with ham.

We were playing a lot and my friend’s dad, brought out the go-kart. Everybody went on, my friend and a little sister went on and I asked if I could go on, and he said I had to ask my mom. So I asked my mom and she said I could. And she asked who was out there, and I said, “Dan”, my friend’s dad. So I went back out and said, “I can, I can!”, but the thing was loud so I had to get closer. He told me where the gas and brakes were and I knew how to steer – its not like a horse! When you turn it right it goes right. I had a test drive around the yard and mom came out to watch and move the car, and I chased mom around, and then went back into the field – they used to have a horse, but now its just a field. And we kept taking turns and when I wasn’t in the go-kart, me and all the other kids that were under 10 were out jumping on the trampoline. We played games on the trampoline and all that.

I don’t know the rest – I have to think…

Birthdays

My birthday is coming up soon and I am turning 9. And we think we are going, well, we are trying to go to the water park in Six Flags. And I bet it will be fun and I've been saving my money so I can get things from there like snacks, drinks, anything like that. I really do think birthdays are fun, but my homeschool teacher, Mr. Heibel, says that the real thing you should celebrate is your mother, because she did all the work. And I was about to say that it was really a day to respect your guests and have fun with them and stuff. My name is Robby, and that is the story of birthdays. Bye.

Pool Days

So, I passed the swimming test for the pool yesterday. I swam one lap, well, the length of the pool and then that showed the lifeguards that I could swim, so I could swim when I went off the diving board and stuff. The Recky-ration Base that we went onto had a slide. That slide is faster than the regular base pool. At the regular base when I go down it I always have to push myself going down it. I like the diving board there, but the slide hates me. I usually meet a lot of friends, but on the regular base pool I usually just meet one friend a day or every week or something like that. But the Recky-ration base pool, I meet like 10 a day, a week or something. And it is more better than the regular base pool becuase it has 3 pools, two slides in different pools and one diving board with one of the slides. One is where all the kids go and the babies go on the two sides so they don't drown in the middle where its deeper. Thats my story about pool days. Bye bye.

Crab Watching

I went out canoeing and we went near this tree and we saw a couple of crabs. They were just babies crawling around and we were watching them for fun. I stuck my paddle in and they would crawl on and then pinch and claw at my paddle. Then we went farther out to sea and we saw this crab swimming around. I stuck my paddle out -- he pinched it and then dived down. And then we went out and I asked, "What are those bobbers out there?" And my Gramma said, "They are either crab nets or marker lines that someone used to mark the deepest part of the hole. And that is my story of crab watching -- bye bye.

Fun With Dad

I love my dad a lot. He is really fun to do stuff with. some of the things I like to do with my dad are playing outside with him. I would like to play Wii with him. He's a really cool Dad. I like him a lot. He makes me feel important. Whenever I get hurt, he just feels very bad for me. Most of the time he would say (when I was littler), "Wanna go to the park?" And I would say, "Yes." I wish he was here.
